How to make your jewelry last longer
Gold plated jewelry is an excellent choice for those who wants affordable accessories or thoughtful gifts. Gold plating involves the application of a thin layer of gold onto a base material. This process imparts the jewelry with the visual allure of solid gold, all while maintaining a more budget-friendly price point.
It's important to note that over time, the gold layer may gradually wear off, revealing the underlying material. This is a natural occurrence for plated items and should not be considered a product defect.
To preserve the brilliance of your golden earrings, bracelets, rings, and necklaces, it's essential to take extra precautions due to the delicate nature of the plating, that's why we recommend you to avoid exposing your jewelry for:
- Water, remove your jewelry while showering, bathing or washing your hands.
- Sweat, we don't recommend you wear our jewelry when training or any other situations when you might sweat.
- Heat/Direct sunlight, heat and sunshine might tarnish your jewelry if exposed for longer periods.
- Hand sanitizer, soap, lotion, perfume and make up, all these products might contain chemicals that can be harmful to jewelry.
